Salem Parkway Bike Path

Wednesday evening.

Nice connection between Kaiser Station and down by Home Depot. There’s a couple of cracks that you need to be careful of other than that. Great ride.

Minto-Brown Island Park Paved Path

Thoroughly enjoyable try ride

Wonderful ride in the park. Safe, green, quiet, and a bit scenic.

Memories await.

We camped at the county fairgrounds in Rickreall and rode into Monmouth to visit college haunts. An enjoyable day.

Tigard Heritage Trail

A sunny Saturday but only one other person on this trail full of historical markers about the Tigard/Tualatin area.

Corvallis-Philomath Multi-Modal Path

more signage at beginning

August, 2024 by trishparks5

We parked at B and 2nd and it was a bit tricky figuring out how to get on the right trail to Philomath but finally got to it. Worse part is there is now a much bigger area in the field under the overpass that has a lot of homeless camp. No one bothered us They have marked the few bumps in the asphalt with white paint which was helpful. Would not do again.

Terwilliger Trail

Beautiful, green and lush

My husband and I just got here bikes and use this trail for our second expedition on them. It was such a beautiful ride. The trail was rather busy, but not a problem. There were picnic tables where we enjoyed a packed lunch at the park. Would do this again.

Kronberg Park Multi-Use Trail

great connector

July, 2023 by walker.kayla

Really great connecting trail to get you from the Trolley Trail to the Milwaukie Max stop, high school, food cart pod and east downtown access to main street and the library. Great public art and view of the rail bridge. Peep down in the river for a spooky surprise on a scooter!

Fanno Creek Trail

Connects multiple parks

Really nice trail that connects three parks. Decent enough tree cover on some to keep rain at bay.

I-205 Multi-Use Path

Use it or lose it!

September, 2022 by dave194

This trail and it's construction is nothing short of amazing. Yet the pictures on the Rails to Trails website tell it all. It is not being used. Maybe it is because people are afraid of the homeless encampments that you see or because it is next to a freeway. But the homeless encampments would be much less of a problem if there were more people on bikes utilizing the trail. This trail I am sure cost millions yet just a few people use it. Get out there people!

Highway 99W Bike Path

Great easy ride for young kids

August, 2022 by ellenzosborn

We live just a few blocks from this trail in Monmouth. The community uses the trail especially in the early morning & evening in the summers for jogging & cycling. It’s wide, flat & traffic-free (even tho it runs along the Highway). There is a convenient bike repair station along the trail in front of the Monmouth Police Station. Just across the highway via a well-marked crosswalk is Gentle Woods Park (named after the Gentle family) with shade, grassy fields, a small playground & footbridge across the middle fork of Ash Creek.

Fanno Creek Trail

Most of it is good for skating

July, 2022 by sara.miller.42

Pretty smooth for the trails I've been on here. A good mix of parks, neighborhood, and through some foresty bits. Fun hills to slalom or speed down, only slightly less fun on the way back up. Not worth skating south of Tigard, as the trail conditions quickly degrade with narrow, steep hills behind backyards, and it ends in a neighborhood, so not even worth all the effort.

Salem Parkway Bike Path

Very smooth

June, 2022 by felixcandelaria1998

It’s a smooth path for the most part. It has a little bit of cracks and sometimes branches. There is a couple tents from the homeless at the beginning of the path, I’ve never had a problem so far but it’s a pretty good spot otherwise
